Reload Festival takes place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th September 2017.

Saturday and Sunday are the main event days, open to Day, Weekend and Camping ticketholders.

Friday is exclusive to Camping ticketholders at Reload.

Reload Festival takes place at Norfolk Showground, Norwich NR5 0TT, UK

For Day Ticket/Weekend Tickets – the festival is open from 12noon until 10:30pm on Saturday 9th September and Sunday 10th September.

For Campers – the festival is open from 11am on Friday 8th September until 12pm Monday 11th September.

Box office is open 9am to 9pm Friday.

Box office is open 9am to 8pm Saturday.

Box office is open 9am to 7.30pm Sunday.

Any e-tickets that haven’t been scanned between the box office times will be not gain entry.



Reload Festival at Norfolk Showground is easily accessible from the A47 by car. Please use NR5 0TP if you are using a sat nav.

Train services run to Norwich regularly.


First Eastern Counties Buses will be providing regular buses to Reload Festival 2017. Festival-goers will have a choice of services to get to the Showground from Norwich city centre.

Car parking at Reload Festival is £10 per day as is payable by cash only.

Campers/Weekend Car Parking Tickets are £20 and will cover you for the duration of your festival ticket.

Parking charge is payable on arrival by cash only.

The parking area is clearly signposted from the entrance to the site.

Parking is offered on a first come first served basis and is limited. Anyone parking at Reload does so at their own risk.

Parking areas are reserved for cars only.



In the instance of the Promoter/s or the Venue/s making vehicle parking areas available, they are opened in advance of the published gate / door opening times, which will be announced closer to the time of the event.

Pick up/drop off is located just off the roundabout by the Showground’s near Long Lane. We encourage everyone to use this – it’s very easy to access and will be clearly signposted. Please don’t use Longwater Retail Park’s – the walk from there to the festival is not a safe pedestrian route.


Reload Festival is open to everyone, but we do have some restrictions to ensure safety and enjoyment for all.

Any children 13 years of age or under can visit Reload free of charge, but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult. Please ensure that you book your free child tickets at the time of booking. A max of 3 free of charge child tickets per paying adult.

Anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied by a responsible person over the age of 18. ID will be checked on entry.

Anyone aged 16 or 17 may attend unaccompanied but we strongly advise that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You must be 14 years or over to access the VIP area.

Legal drinking age restrictions apply – 18+

Your email confirmation is sufficient for all box office collections.

Proof of age may be required on entry to the event and when purchasing alcohol. Recognised and accepted forms of ID are Photo Driving or Provisional Driving License, Passport and Proof of Age Card with PASS (hologram) logo. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission if its staff or agents are in any doubt whatsoever as to the age of the person being presented as being under the requisite age.

Tickets cannot be resold. All tickets are sold on a non-exchangeable, non-refundable basis as per terms and conditions with the box office you purchased through.

Card holder details must be visible on the E-ticket or your ticket will be invalid. Please also refer to the terms and conditions of entry.

When ordering tickets from National Box Office and See Tickets you will be given an option to choose either e-tickets (which you can print at home) or printed tickets which will be posted to the address you provide.

Whether you book online or over the phone, we’ll send you a confirmation email with details of your order. All communication will be sent to the email address you provide when you book and it shouldn’t take longer than 24 hours to arrive. If you don’t see it, please check your junk or spam folders and if it is still not there please contact National Box Office or See Tickets (whoever you booked your tickets with) within 5 working days of making the order.

Postal option through all ticket agents will be posted up to 4 weeks before the festival.

If you have bought tickets for someone else, the card holder doesn’t need to be present –their details are included on the e-ticket. Card holder details must be visible on the e-ticket or your ticket will be invalid.


Children aged 13 years and under can attend Reload Festival free of charge, but will still require a ticket and must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 years or over. A maximum of 3 free child tickets are permitted per paying adult. Please ensure that you add your child tickets at the time of booking.

Please note: If you need add a child’s ticket to your order, please contact your ticket agent to amend your booking. Please have your booking reference to hand.


There is no specific family camping area but a quiet camping area will be available on a first come first serve basis. Please look for signs on the day.

You can camp for one night but you will still need to pay the full camping ticket price, regardless of how many nights you stay at Reload Festival. No discounts are given for reduced stays.

Day Ticket/ Weekend ticketholders cannot bring alcohol onsite.


Campers may bring alcohol to the CAMPSITE ONLY.

Campers may only bring alcohol into the festival campsite upon initial entry ONLY and are permitted to bring a maximum of either:

– 1L of alcoholic spirits (no greater than 40% ABV) and 24 x 440ml cans of beer/cider; or

– box of wine (no more than 3L) and 24 x 440ml cans of beer/cider; or

– 2L of alcoholic spirits(no greater than 40% ABV)

You may not take alcohol from the campsite into the festival arena, bars will be open throughout the site. Any glass must be decanted into plastic.

The legal age to bring alcohol into the festival is 18+ years. There is an ID check on entry and any alcohol will be taken off you if you’re found to be underage.

Please drink responsibly.

We offer Campervan Pitches for Campervans and Caravans up to 6 metres long by 5m wide and Large Campervan Pitch tickets for those up to 9m long by 7m wide. Just choose the one that fits and add it to your basket when you buy your festival tickets.

Each Campervan/Caravan is allowed to pitch two x 2-4 man tents or one larger tent next to them. You will also need to buy a Weekend Camping ticket for each person staying in the Campervan/Caravan, and any accompanying tents.

Campervans and Caravans are asked to arrive between 11am and 7pm on Friday and leave after 8am on Monday. You are only allowed to enter once so if you leave the site you can only return to the car park. If you need to arrive or leave outside of these times then we will be able to assist you but please contact us before the event or speak to a member of our team on site.

If you are bringing a caravan then once set-up you will need to move your car to the parking area. The cost for parking your car is included with your Campervan pitch ticket.

We also do not allow the use of petrol or diesel generators while on site at Reload Festival.

Campers may only bring tents that are one berth bigger than the
number of occupants allowing room only for storage of personal items.
This is for the comfort and safety of all users of the campsite

i.e. 1 person can be in a 2 berth tent, 2 people can be in a 3-4 berth tent,
3 people can be in a 4 berth tent and 5 people can be in a 6 berth tent.

Gazebos are not allowed in the festival

No. The car park is located a 5-10 minute walk from the campsite so please bear this in mind when packing for the weekend!

We allow small butane gas stoves; single burner, with gas cylinder of less than 5kg that can be used in the designated areas within the campsite only. No BBQ’s allowed.



If you need assistance while at Reload Festival, we offer personal assistants tickets at no extra cost. These tickets are available for people who would otherwise not be able to attend the event – as tickets for the event as a whole, are limited (and expected to sell out) please do not book this ticket unless you do really require it. To apply for a PA ticket, please contact prior to purchasing. You will be asked to supply information to confirm that you have a genuine requirement for a PA.

Site Layout and Ground Conditions

Reload Festival is located on Norfolk Showground which is a mix of grass & hard standing level ground. Please take the weather into consideration when planning what to bring as it can have an impact on mobility due to muddy patches etc.


The campsite is grassed and intersected with tarmac roads. There is a reserved camping area for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, close to the main entrance with facilities including accessible toilets. This must be pre-booked – please contact us in advance

On request we can also provide power for scooter charging.

We are unable to offer electrical hook-up to tents however if you require a charging point for a wheelchair, refrigeration for medical items or anything similar then this can be arranged via the Welfare Tent.

Blue Badge Parking

There is a blue badge parking area in the main car park; this does not need to be pre booked but you must have your blue badge on display. Please follow signs for Public Car Park.

Medical & Welfare Facilities

Reload Festival has onsite medical tents that are well staffed with experienced crew 24 hours each day and are available to support with any queries.

The Medical & Welfare facilities are located at the front of the campsite and in the middle of the festival arena.

If you require a charging point for a wheelchair, refrigeration for medical items or anything similar then please ask at the Medical & Welfare facilities.


Accessible toilets are located behind Medical & Welfare, at the viewing platform and in the campsite.

Viewing Platform

There is a viewing platform at the main stage. While the platform is of a relative size for the number of guests we are expecting, spaces are limited and operate on a first come first served basis. Please e-mail to book your space. We ask that at busy times users only invite one guest onto the platform.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcomed at Reload Festival.

You can only leave the festival site if you have a camping wristband.
There is NO re-entry for day or weekend ticketholders to the festival site if you leave. If a weekend ticketholder leaves the site on Saturday they won’t be readmitted until the arena reopens on Sunday.

If you lose your wristband you will not be able to re-enter the venue unless you pay full price again.

If you damage your wristband you would need to return the damaged wristband to the box office to replace with a payable fee of £5.

Please note you may not bring alcohol into the campsite after your initial entry.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM UNOFFICIAL OUTLETS OR TOUTS – all Reload tickets incorporate a barcode which will be scanned on entry.

If you have a day or weekend ticket and need to access the car park, please speak to a member of staff on site.

There are toilets in the main Arena & campsite that can be used free of charge.
ATM cash machines accepting most major debit / credit cards are provided on site.
There are disabled facilities on site including a viewing platform & disabled toilets.

Lockers are available at an extra charge.

No food or drink is permitted into the main arena.
Food and drink can be purchased once inside the arena.

One small (500ml) sealed bottle of water allowed per person.


Campers are allowed to bring their own food and drink to the camping area only. Alcohol can only be brought in on your first entry to the site and are permitted to bring a maximum of either:
• 1L of alcoholic spirits (no greater than 40% ABV) and 24 x 440ml cans of beer/cider; or
• box of wine (no more than 3L) and 24 x 440ml cans of beer/cider; or
• 2L of alcoholic spirits(no greater than 40% ABV)

Please drink responsibly.

Standard UK smoking regulations apply; you can smoke in the open air but not inside big tops and tents – look out for the ‘no smoking’ signs.

There are a number of hotels nearby including Travelodge and Premier Inn and other accommodation in Norwich.

Please bear in mind that you should book early to avoid disappointment as many of the hotels near to Norfolk Showground will be booked well in advance for the weekend of the festival.

If you need permission to take a chair into the event or you have special dietary requirements, you must have suitable documentation to enter the venue.

You may bring a “domestic” camera however anything deemed professional (ie. SLR with detachable lenses etc.) is prohibited

• Cash and a debit card just in case (keep it safe)

Don’t forget to pre-order your lanyard detailing all stage times so you can collect it as soon as you arrive on site. You can order that here

Please check the weather forecast beforehand to ensure you are prepared, e.g. sunscreen, waterproofs.

One fold up chair per person is allowed at Reload. Please note you may be asked to remove your chair when the area is particularly busy, or if it is in an unsafe location. Please don’t leave chairs unattended as they will be removed.

We hope we have provided everything you will need within the festival.

Please DO NOT bring the following:

Offensive weapons or anything deemed as an offensive weapon.
Air horns
Chinese lanterns
Laser pens
Food – there is a variety of food available at the festival
Illegal drugs
Psychoactive substances (legal highs)

These items will be taken from you on entrance to the festival.

If you need to bring a chair for medical reasons please bring supporting evidence such as a medical letter from your doctor.

The Premises License issued to Reload by South Norfolk Council has conditions attached to it relating to the reporting of crime and to formulate a drugs policy with Norfolk Constabulary.

You will be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable for eviction from the event.

The event organisers will ensure a robust and effective search procedure of patrons entering the event or suspected of possessing drugs once in the event itself. If persons are found within the event to be in possession of controlled drugs they may be presented to police who will undertake appropriate investigative measures. They will then assist security officers if necessary in evicting the persons from the event.

Where there are grounds to suspect that a person is involved in the supply of controlled drugs, they will be arrested and dealt with by the police accordingly.
